Since we’re fresh off Albany Comic Con and have Boston Comic Con this weekend, I thought it’d be the perfect time to write about why comic book conventions are so freakin’ cool. I’ve actually only been to three so far, so I’m still a newbie at the whole thing. But I’ve been to enough to be sold that comic cons are awesome events to attend.

Hey Super Fans, Mark here with a new blog comin’ atcha. Decided to have a little fun this week (actually we have fun here every week at Super Blogged Up, but this week the fun meter’s off the charts) and embed some trailers to a few superhero films old and (relatively) new. If you’ve seen all of these films, great! If you haven’t, well, queue ‘em up Netflix style.
In this day and age when we’re running to our Twitter or RSS feeds, begging Christopher Nolan and Warner Bros. to give us even the tiniest scrap of information on who will be in The Dark Knight Rises, we could use the guy who came up with this teaser for the 1966 Batman film, starring Adam West and Burt Ward. I don’t really know what this trailer is teasing. The plot? But who really cares about that when you have The Riddler, Joker, Penguin AND Catwoman in the same movie!?
Having trouble embedding video, so check it out here!
Hey all! An extra blog post this week. A little different than usual, but we just sent out our first official newsletter, so thought we’d share it with all you loyal Super Blogged Up readers :) Read on!

In the scene, super-villain Jessica James (aka Darkstar) discovers Michael Masters (aka Captain Amazing) flirting with a hot reporter in his apartment. And I don’t want to give anything away, but let’s just say she’s not too pleased. There are two points in the scene where Michael uses his super-speed to zip over to Jessica. So, how do we make it look like Captain Amazing has Superman or Flash-like speed without doing crazy special effects?
